We have searched high and low to bring you the best possible price on a quality GPS tracking unit. Through economies of scale and a special agreement with our supplier we are able to offer these GPS tracker units to Australian customers at a very affordable price.  We offer a full 6 month warrantee on these units.

This GPS tracker is aimed at the home user market, it is a light weight and compact fully functional unit. It has internal batteries providing over 24 hours standby time and it can also be attached to a car power source such as a cigarette ligher socket. For covert use it can be ttached using (provided) cables to the fuse box of your car. The item itself is small and inconspicuous and is highly magnetic. This GPS tracker can be mounted under the bonnet or any other part of the car using the magnets.

How it works:

The unit requires a mobile phone SIM card. You can use any mobile network either on prepaid or on a plan.  If you want to use a prepaid SIM we suggest Amaysim since their SIM cards cost only a few dollars and $15 credit lasts for 90 days. Alternatively you can use Telstra, Optus etc.

The GPS tracker works in two ways.

Firstly you can set it up to simply send you an SMS (Text) message of it’s location. You send an SMS message to the GPS tracker’s phone number. The GPS tracker then replies with an SMS message telling you it’s GPS coordinates. You can type these coordinates into Google Earth / Google Maps to see exactly where the unit is located. It is accurate to about 15 meters.

Secondly you can configure the GPS tracker to work by GPRS (which is a data service but not as fast as 3G).  The unit will use the data plan of the sim card you are using (it does not send a lot of data so a minimal data plan is OK) to send messages to your computer or mobile phone via the Internet. Using the provided software you can track the unit in real time and know exactly where it is.
